Coffee is a popular beverage in Vietnam, and there are countless ways to brew it to make the coffee experience more enjoyable. Now, Vinbarista will guide you on how to make a delicious and warm Mocha coffee with a perfect balance of the bitter-sweet flavors of coffee and chocolate, topped with a smooth layer of creamy milk foam
Mocha Coffee Recipe
Ingredients:
- 18g coffee grounds
- 250ml whole milk
- 2.8g cocoa powder or chocolate powder
- Whipped cream and chocolate sauce for decoration
Equipment:
- Espresso machine (with milk frother)
- Milk jug
- Cappuccino cup (300-350ml)
Preparation:
Step 1: Brew 35ml of espresso using the espresso machine and pour it into a large cup. Then, add the cocoa powder into the espresso and stir the mixture well.
Step 2: Froth the milk to create a layer of thick milk foam on top (about 3-4cm) and smooth, warm milk underneath. Slowly pour the frothed milk into the espresso-cocoa mixture to create a foam pattern on the surface of the drink.
Step 3: Optionally, you can decorate the drink with whipped cream and cocoa powder or chocolate sauce on top.
(The drink will taste even better if enjoyed immediately).
