Basic Drip preparation steps
Step 1: Fold the filter paper along the crease line and place it in the conical filter funnel. Add ground coffee (medium-fine grind) then pat the sides of the funnel to spread the coffee. Normally use 10-12 grams of coffee with 120 ml of water. Use 1 full measuring spoon (12 grams) and use freshly ground coffee. (adjust the ratio to suit your desire to be darker or lighter).
Step 2: Use boiling water to slowly moisten the coffee powder from the inside out in a circular shape. Then wait about 30 seconds.
Step 3: Slowly pour more water and rotate from the inside out as in step 2. However, be careful not to let the water come into direct contact with the filter paper. Pour time in this step should be 3 minutes and remember to use Hario V60 coffee filter paper to get the best coffee quality.
