ECM Puristika revolutionizes the relationship between home users and baristas with its single-boiler espresso machine. It proves a compact and stylish design, incorporating premium components and materials similar to ECM's flagship Synchronika, such as the PID controller and anthracite housing.
Unlike other ECM models, the Puristika is exclusively designed for espresso brewing and does not include steam or hot water capabilities. Its unique features include a multi-position glass water tank for flexible counter placement and a front-mounted expansion valve knob for easy brew pressure adjustment.

The ECM Puristika is an espresso-only machine that ensures consistently excellent shots. Despite being an E61 machine, it is impressively compact, making it the smallest of its kind.
The E61 group maintains a consistent brew temperature through active circulation of hot water from the 0.75 liter stainless steel boiler. The PID controller actively regulates brew temperatures, providing stability and allowing fine-tuning of extraction conditions.
Further refinement of espresso can be achieved with the front-mounted brew pressure valve, offering adjustable expansion valve settings between approximately 8.5 and 12 bar. The stylish brew pressure gauge, located opposite the knob, features a navy blue face with white lettering, creating a visually appealing combination.
The Puristika's compact size is remarkable, measuring just 7.7" W x 13.7" D x 12.4" H, making it ECM's smallest espresso machine, surpassing the Casa V. This compactness is achieved by separating the 2-liter reservoir into a standalone component connected to the back of the machine. The reservoir, made of crystal-clear glass, has a diameter of 4.75" and is connected with braided steel hoses.

Multi-Position Water Tank
ECM ingeniously separated the water tank from the rest of the machine. The 2-liter glass reservoir can be positioned behind or on either side of the Puristika, connected via braided steel water intake and return lines.

PID Temperature Controller
The PID controller serves as the nerve center of the Puristika, allowing you to set your desired brew temperature within a 1-degree range (F or C). It also acts as a shot timer during brewing, enables setting a backflush reminder, and allows programming the Puristika's Eco Mode.
